Mardi Gras come from Rome in Italy, but the name of the band comes from the last Creedence Clearwater Revival studio album as well as being a direct reference to the famous New Orleans Carnival: a vibrant kaleidoscope of music, colours and cool vibes. The band members are all Italian but their ears and their hearts are very much tuned in to the classic American, Irish and English songwriters and, like them, they have a great urge to tell stories, share emotions, and follow the paths of the soul.

Klaus Kroak was conceived during a time of total despair and sadness, and has since evolved into a strange and complex project of original multi-genre contemporary music, abstract comic-style artwork and sublime characters and plots that are like none that have gone before them.
