It-Alien - aka Fabio Napodano - is a self-taught musician from Avellino in Italy who has been composing music since 1993. Very much an avantgarde experimentalist, Fabio uses Renoise to compose his original compositions which can loosely be gathered together in the progressive rock, jazz, contemporary classical, dark ambient and experimental electronica genres.
Hox is an eclectic experimenter whose primary inspiration is drawn from Dada and the Surrealist movement. His music is not always easy to empathize with: it requires active and attentive listening and Hox himself is not in the least bit interested in appealing to the general public. It is a fascinating journey into the very language of music itself, its structures and sounds, its rhythms and beats, and a constant experimentation with the juxtaposition of contrasting genres and the unorthodox use of instruments.
