Spotlight Album: “Major Triadz”
Spotlight Artist: “Mama Chill”
Mama Chill, mainly influenced by 80’s American rap/hip hop with every other genre thrown in prefers to describe herself as a storyteller. After listening to her music you’d be forgiven for thinking she was an American artist but she’s never ventured outside of the UK. Having grown up listening to the likes of Run DMC, LL Cool J, & Grandmaster flash & the furious five to name but a few, it’s evident that Mama Chill takes her chosen genre seriously.
Spotlight Artist: “Major Triadz”
We are the Major Triadz, originating from the hills of Mid-Wales, a duo who like to make our own brand of intelligent Hiphop, complete with pounding beats and some serious turntable wizardry. We have been together for about 2 years or so although we have both been involved in music-making for considerably longer. We believe we bring some genuine originality to what we perceive as an often-mundane UK Hiphop scene.
