The word "Humanism" dates back to the beginning of the Renaissance. It pertains to the positiveness of people and also the empathy that is felt amongst people. This is certainly evident throughout history and also in our world today, and these are the aspects that this short video by IndieGuild artist Pete Romanowski [aka Europica] focuses on. Eric Chiryoku has been delighting the hearts and souls of listeners around the world since he first appeared on the online independent music scene in 2005. A first class pianist and keyboard player, Eric's compositions float exquisitely on a delicate, finely-tuned balance between a gently narrating piano and softly supporting strings and/or wind instruments, creating an overall sound that provides his listeners with a meditative experience that may have its roots in the new-age genre but that spreads its iridescent wings far beyond.
In the artists' words: "This is a collection of tunes we wrote together between October 2011 and February 2012. We wrote all of the songs with the intention of giving you some great music to start your day. We both hate waking up to the sound of those horrible alarm clocks and that’s why we decided to write ten titles, each one addressing a different mood. It’s been a long trip and we had tons of fun doing it, we hope this music will help you welcome every morning with a smile." (Visit the IndieGuild CDstore for direct "buy" links.)
