Born in Tehran in 1979 and currently living in the USA, Farzad Golpayegani is a Graphic Design graduate working in the fields of Music and Visual Arts. While Farzad's musical production is primarily inspired by the progressive and fusion genres, he also writes music for movies, video games, advertisements and so on in a variety of genres. Farzad Golpayegani composes, plays, records, mixes and masters his musical projects entirely by himself as well as designing his own album covers. Farzad is a multi-instrumentalist playing a 7-string electric guitar, nylon and steel acoustic guitars, the bass guitar and the violin.
Towards the end of 2013, to the delight of his dedicated fans, the eclectic, self-taught musician, Hox Vox, came out with a brand new eight-track album by the name of "Suffer" in which he continues his fascinating journey into the very language of music itself, its structures and sounds, its rhythms and beats, in a constant experimentation with the juxtaposition of contrasting genres and the unorthodox use of instruments.
