If anybody here has a tablet pc, iPad or smart phone, you can get teh app for free now by opening your phones internet browser and typing indieguild.net as the address. Trying this on my HTC Wildfire (Android) now.
Browsing to the site prompts me to download the app.
Ah one point, it downloads the .apk file rather than via the Market. Unless you tell your phone to allow installs outside of the market you won’t be able to install the app. By default this is disallowed but you can easily turn this off.

A little experiment for you! Go to google and search for any indieguild artist, doesn’t matter who, I can almost guarantee this will work, no matter who you chose. Thanks to @tony-lawson relentlessly using the Google+ button, IndieGuild.net always shows up on page 1 of the results, but 99% of the time,…[Read more]-
I would add that the search also feeds a little artist BIO when there is one instead of uselss webpage blurb that means very little with regard to the actual artist in question. This shows the importance of sending me your artist BIO so that I can update your Artist Page and make it far more useful for your promotion

Members Area 4 months, 3 weeks agoHi everyone, just a quick update…. I’ve had to temporarily remove the feature that allows you to share videos/photos etc via the activity stream. The programmer that designed the plugin decided that he was going to advertise all over our admin pages, so basically, he can go screw himself lol. IG will always be ad-free ;=]
