"I have been playing music since I was about 4. My parents plopped me down in front of a keyboard and I just started plunking away at the keys. That was a wrap for me, I was hooked. Since then, I have been in bands all through out middle and high school. After, I went to school to become an engineer/producer/performer.
I am a graduate from the The Art Institute of Washington with a BA in audio production, and have been working in the industry since I entered the program there. I also have received many nationally accredited certifications from the Omega Studios' School of Applied Recording Arts and Sciences and currently work at a studio in Sterling Virginia, but am looking to expanding my network, knowledge base, connections, and fans in this industry world wide.
I have engineered countess sessions, from ethnic cultural radio shows, to live room jazz, to rock, hip-hop, electronica and from time to time have assisted/worked with such producers as Kevin 131, Jim Ebert, and Matt Shell, as well as Grammy nominated artist Carolyn Malachi. I have also had the chance to observe Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount of Tree Sound Studios work on a local bands album back in 2006. It was a great wealth of knowledge to draw from. I am also extremely well versed in Protools and other DAW systems, as well as analog boards.
I am a producer first and foremost. Some of my latest projects include work with Suns of Society, Collin McLoughlin, The Interior, Blue51, Adrienne Nicole, Rufus Fly (my "performance" alter ego), Robbins on Record, and Since Antarctica."
